David Kudrow, M.D. – Dr. Kudrow is NRI’s principle investigator. He attended the University of Southern California where he earned a bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then attended the University of Southern California Medical School and graduated in 1986. He completed his residency in neurology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and then completed a one year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Kudrow has been in private practice in neurology with an emphasis on headache medicine since 1991. He is Assistant Clinical Professor in Neurology at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and the Director of the Headache Treatment Center at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he is responsible for training residents and fellow in headache medicine. He has been involved in clinical research since 1992 studying such indications as: Migraine, Cluster headache, chronic daily headache, Alzheimer’s disease, Vascluar dementia, Epilepsy, Neuropathy, Post-herpetic Neuralgia, Restless legs syndrome, depression and Anxiety; and multiple sclerosis. He has authored or co-authored scientific papers and book chapters in Neurology. He has been a research consultant to various pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Kudrow speaks Spanish and Hebrew as well as his native English. He can carry on a brief conversation in French with a two year old.
