Our clinical research site has been conduction clinical trials since 1992. Our research staff is composed of highly trained and experienced full time study coordinators and research assistants. Collectively, our staff has extensive experience in study related procedures including: phlebotomy, EKG, Nerve conduction studies, EEG, Intravenous infusion and monitoring; preparation of labs and pulmonary spirometry. Our staff are all certified in lab safety procedures. They are all proficient in using computers for electronic data input and maintaining documents as needed for study completion.

David Kudrow, M.D. – Dr. Kudrow is NRI’s principle investigator. He attended the University of Southern California where he earned a bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then attended the University of Southern California Medical School and graduated in 1986. He completed his residency in neurology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and then completed a one year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Kudrow has been in private practice in neurology with an emphasis on headache medicine since 1991. He is Assistant Clinical Professor in Neurology at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and the Director of the Headache Treatment Center at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he is responsible for training residents and fellow in headache medicine. He has been involved in clinical research since 1992 studying such indications as: Migraine, Cluster headache, chronic daily headache, Alzheimer’s disease, Vascluar dementia, Epilepsy, Neuropathy, Post-herpetic Neuralgia, Restless legs syndrome, depression and Anxiety; and multiple sclerosis. He has authored or co-authored scientific papers and book chapters in Neurology. He has been a research consultant to various pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Kudrow speaks Spanish and Hebrew as well as his native English. He can carry on a brief conversation in French with a two year old.

Jaime Latorre, M.D. – Dr. Latorre has been principle study coordinator in the area of neurological clinical research. He has over 10 years experience in designing and conducting clinical trials in many areas within neurology including: Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Minimal Cognitive Impairment, Epilepsy, Painful Diabetic Neuropathy, Post-Herpetic Neuralgia, Restless Legs Syndrome, Migraine, Chronic Daily Headache and Multiple Sclerosis. He has been praised by study sponsors and CRO’s for his expertise and meticulous care in coordinating clinical studies. He has been instrumental in our ability to expand our clinical study population into the growing Spanish speaking community in Los Angeles. Dr. Latorre is a native of Venezuela and a graduate of the Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela. He is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Tatyana Neyman, M.D. – Dr. Neyman has been a principle study coordinator for 8 years. Her expertise is in coordinating headache trials including Migraine Prevention, Abortive Migraine Treatments, Chronic Migraine, Chronic Daily Headache and Cluster Headache. She has assisted in writing protocols and designing studies for investigator initiated trials. She has also coordinated Post-Herpetic Neuralgia trials and Diabetic Neuropathy Studies. She has received praise from study sponsors and monitors for her meticulous care in documenting study related events and completing both electronic and paper CRF’s. Dr. Neyman is a native of Moscow, Russia and is multi-lingual in English, Russian and Hebrew.
